Basic setup
To make the settings ( page 25) separately
Press SETUP, then press / to select “Initial settings”, and then press ENTER. The following menu appears.
Press / to select each item, then press ENTER.
1 To reset the clock and calendar.
2 To preset the channel.
3 To select the channel to set the clock automatically.
4 To turn on or off the function which sets the clock
automatically.
1 Time & date setting
Press / to select “Auto” or “Manual”, then press
ENTER.
Auto : You can be free of entering each value.
Proceed to the next page.
(This function will not work correctly unless
the “Clock set position” is set correctly.

Manual : You can set the clock manually. See
“Manual clock setting”. ( page 29)
Select “Manual” to set the clock if not set correctly by
“Auto”.
Auto (Auto clock setting)
When you select “Auto” and press the ENTER button,
the Auto clock setting function starts.
• When the setting is complete, the “Initial settings” menu
returns.
Note
• The Auto clock setting function may not work, depending
on the radio reception or other conditions. If the Auto clock
setting function does not work successfully, use the
“Manual” clock setting menu to enter the time and date.
• This function does not work when the channel setting is not
complete or the channel set at 3 does not have the clock
information. (

Manual (Manual clock setting)
1) When you select “Manual” and press ENTER,
the following screen appears.
e.g.
2) Press / and ADJUST (–/+) to set the clock.
/ buttons:
To select “Year”, “Date”, “Time”.
ADJUST (–/+) buttons:
To change the data.
( / buttons can also be used in addition to the
ADJUST(–/+) buttons.)
