OPERATION
POWER ON/OFF
To turn the unit ON, rotate the [ON/OFF VOL]
clockwise. A channel number and battery level
should appear on the display.
To turn the unit OFF, rotate the [ON/OFF VOL]
knob counter-clockwise. The display will disap-
pear.
VOLUME
Rotate the [ON/OFF VOL] knob clockwise or
counter-clockwise to adjust speaker volume to
desired listening level.
KEY BEEP ON/OFF
Your radio emits a beep each time-one of the keys
(except for the PTT) are pressed.
See the Controls and Indicators on page 29 for button and key operations.
1. Press seven times. bP flashes and the current setting displays.
2. Press or to change setting ON/OFF.
3. Press and hold to store setting.
