PTIONS
The position of the Paper Return determines the path of the scanned
document. You can set the paper return to feed the document back
towards you, or straight through the scanner.
■ To have the scanned document returned back towards you, move the
Paper Return to the Down position.
■ To feed a document straight through the scanner, move the Paper
Return to the Up position as shown below.
The Paper Return icons on the back of the scanner indicate the
positioning of the Paper Return for each option.
Note: When scanning heavier paper that does not bend easily,
position the Paper Return in the Up position so the document will
feed straight through the scanner.
