B.3 EMAIL
These messages are text messages sent from the uplink to individual units, where they are output
to the front panel.
At the main (first) menu level, one of three screens is displayed, depending on the status of email
(none, email present and un-read, or email present and read). They are shown in that order
below. Also, the Warning LED will be illuminated. This is done because each email message is
overwritten by the next message, whether it has been read or not.
If email is not received or email is cleared:

If EMAIL has been received and not read, top level menu:
E M A I L R E A D : < S E L E C T >
If email has been received and read:

C L E A R : < E N T E R >
From the screen above, press <ENTER> to clear the email buffer and return to the first (no
email) screen. If email is present, then, after pressing <SELECT> at the above second or third
screen, the following screen (second level) appears:

‘<’ and ‘>’ are shown only when scrolling is necessary to view email message. To exit email
screen you must scroll to end of message.
