RATE: yyyyy.yy is the input data rate,
PROG: zzzzzz is the program number (5 digits).

If tracking mode is entered while viewing the following screen, the display will jump to MODE
& DURATION screen under TRACKING.

ERROR: xx…xx is a message describing the ASI Input Card Error. The error messages are:

Message

Meaning

NO SIGNAL

The ASI Input card is not seeing the sync byte every 188 bytes.
Make sure the ASI input cable is connected.

FIFO EMPTY

The ASI Input FIFO is underflowing. This could mean the data
rate is set too high. Ensure that the incoming data rate equals the
unit’s data rate.

FIFO FULL

The ASI Input FIFO is overflowing. This could mean the data rate
is set too low. Ensure that the incoming data rate equals the unit’s
data rate.

FIFO SYNC ERROR

The FIFO detected a sync error from the FIFO. Check the data rate
settings.

NO MPEG: nnn is the number of times the unit timed out in GET MPEG sub-mode, and the
ASI Input Card was still locked (if non-zero).
BAD HEADER: mmm is the number of times the unit has seen an invalid header in GET
COMPEL sub-mode (if non-zero).
