The dictionary entries displayed in the Dictionary
Screen and in the Word Selection Screen contain
various elements, as applicable. Here are the main
ones:

Screen, the dots in
the middle of the
headword denote the
syllable breaks.
Pressing

will also display the
syllable breaks of the
headword.

pronunciation
The Dot and
Underscore denote
special lengths for
syllable
pronunciation. The
dot denotes a shorter
