Important: When the root does NOT exist
separately in the Duden dictionary – the
screen prompting to scan the addition (see
screen in following example) appears
immediately.
Example - when text includes only second part:
1. Scan the first line of the following example
text:
Er betet seine
Frau an
2. In the Word Selection Screen press
till
the word betet is highlighted.
3. Now press to reveal the definition of the
highlighted word in the lower part of the
screen.
Definition of root verb is displayed
4. If you now wish to scan in the addition to the
root verb, do the following:
a. Press to display the Large-
Type Screen.
b. Press to display the Dictionary
Screen of the root verb - beten.
c. Press to display the Word List.
