8.3 Example Filter
Let’s look at the third default ZyXEL filter, TELNET_WAN (see Figure 8-6) as an example. Please see our
PNC Disk for more example filters. This filter is designed to block outside users telnetting into the Prestige.

Step 1. Enter 21 from the Main Menu to open Menu 21 - Filter Set Configuration.
Step 2. Enter the index of the filter set you wish to configure (in this case, 3) and press [ENTER] .
Step 3. Enter a descriptive name or comment in the Edit Comments field (in this case TELNET_WAN)
and press [ENTER].
Step 4. Press [ENTER] at the message: [Press ENTER to confirm] to open Menu 21.3 - Filter Rules

menu as shown in the following figure.
