Scanning
7. Click the drop-down menu at the top of the window and choose
the type of transparency to scan.
Scan 35mm Using:—for a 35mm slide
Scan Negative Using:—for a 35mm negative
The image on the Advanced Interface then indicates the type of
transparency you’re scanning.
8. Click Preview to preview the image and adjust the settings.
9. Click Scan when you are satisfied with the image.
10. Click Done to close the Advanced Interface.

for negatives
NOTE: Set the resolution to 1200 dpi or better. Xerox
recommends using a resolution of 1600 dpi for 35mm slides and
negatives.
