Operation

S Connect the appliance to the mains.

Remove reservoir (7), fill it with fresh water
and replace it.
Observe the max. mark.
S Set power switch (3) to I", the indicator
light lights up red.
Info: The appliance now starts to heat up
and is ready for operation when ready"

Prior to first use or after a long period out of
use, the coffee maker should be flushed out by
dispensing several cups of water (without
ground coffee).

Fit filter carrier (11) containing filter (11a) to
the filter carrier guide on the leftĆhand side
of the recess (figure c) and turn it to the
right as far as the stop.

Place a large vessel under filter holder (11).

Turn function selector (4) to and fill the
vessel with water.
