Warnings and important recommendations for use
IMPORTANT! This manual constitutes an integral part of the appliance. It must be preserved intact
and within reach during the entire useful life of the cooktop. We recommend that your read this
manual and all the instructions in it carefully before using the appliance. Keep any spare parts
provided. The installation will have to be carried out by qualified personnel in compliance with current
regulations. This appliance is designed for domestic use and is built to perform the following
function: cooking and heating food. Any other use is considered inappropriate. The manufacturer
declines all responsibility for poor installation, tampering, inexperience in using the product
and uses other than those indicated.
Check that the product has not been damaged during transport.
The packaging materials (plastic bags, expanded polystyrene, nylon, etc.) must be kept out of the
reach of children as they may be hazardous.
The packaging is comprised of recyclable material and is marked by the symbol . Do not
dispose as household waste.
This appliance must be used by adults only. Make sure children do not touch the controls or
play with the appliance.
The installation and all the gas/electric connections must be carried out by qualified personnel, in
compliance with safety regulations and current laws, following the manufacturer's instructions.
Electrical safety is ensured only when the product is connected to an efficient earthing system.
It is dangerous to modify or attempt to modify the appliance. In case of problems, do not attempt to
repair the appliance yourself but seek assistance from a qualified technician.
After using the cooktop, make sure that the pointers on the knobs are in the closed position and
close the main tap of the gas supply line or the gas cylinder tap.
If you decide to scrap this appliance, it is recommended that you first render it inoperative as
provided by current laws on health and environmental protection, rendering harmless the parts that
may pose a hazard to children.
The identification plate with technical data is located in view under the guard and annexed to this
manual. The typeplate under the guard must never be removed.
