Removing the Coin-Cell Battery

Follow the procedures in
Before Working Inside Your Computer

Loosen the captive screw securing the memory module/coin-cell battery cover, then remove the cover and set it aside.
3.
Insert a plastic scribe into the guide on the side of the coin-cell battery compartment, and then ease the battery out of the compartment.
