CHAPTER 13: SYSTEM BOARD

Replacing the System Board

Follow the instructions in “Before You Begin” on page

1.

Slide the system board towards the back of the chassis and engage the

latches that secure it to the chassis.
Replace the two screws that secure the system board to the chassis.

Route and connect the cables that you disconnected from the system board.

Connect your computer and devices to electrical outlets, and then turn

Slide the system board towards the front of the chassis to disengage it from

Lift the system board out of the chassis.
