Protect OUT point
OUT point of a clip including the guardbands
Replace
Feature that consist of replacing a portion of a timeline
with the initial A/V material to which audio or video
effects have been added
Timeline Engine
Two player channels that are associated to IPEdit and
makes it possible for the module to run.
Trim
Editing action that consists of adjusting the IN or OUT
point of a timeline element
Slide
Editing action that consists of moving the position of an
element in the timeline without changing its duration, nor
TC IN and TC OUT points.
Slip
Editing action that consists of moving an element’s IN
and OUT points to another frame in the A/V material still
available. The IN and OUT points will be moved
simultaneously by the same number of frames in the same
direction.
Wipe
A gradual spatial transition from one video source to
another, in which a vertical or horizontal border moves
across the screen, to gradually replace the image with
another image.
