Use a 15mm socket or wrench to remove the lower bolts holding the sway bar bushing brackets
to the front of the frame. Use a 21mm socket or wrench to remove the upper bolt holding the
bracket in place. This is a VERY tight bolt, so you may have to use a breaker bar to loosen it.
Retain the stock bracket and mounting hardware for later re-installation.

4)

Use a 15mm socket or wrench to remove the bolts holding the sway bar end caps in place.
Retain the caps and hardware for later use.

5)

Use the grease pack provided to apply a thick coat of grease to the inside of the new sway bar
bushings. Place the bushings over the Hotchkis sway bar in roughly the same position as the
stock bushings fit. Install the bushings so that the split in the bushing faces forward with the bar
installed on the truck. Place the stock retainer bracket over the bushing.
