With the position of the bar now determined, you can tighten up the retainer bracket hardware.
Use a 21mm socket or wrench to tighten the upper bolt. Torque the hardware to 35 ft/lbs. Use a
15mm socket or wrench to tighten the lower bolt. Torque the hardware to 30 ft/lbs.

Re-check all mounting hardware for tightness. If the hardware is tight then you can replace the
splash pan underneath the front end. Use a 15mm wrench or socket to re-install the plate using
the stock hardware. Torque the bolts to 25 ft/lbs. You are finished with the front bar installation!

IMPORTANT

: For proper maintenance, the bushings should be greased at least once a year (15,000

miles) or whenever excessive noise occurs. Use non-lithium grease only

! Lithium-based grease can

wash out with water and should not be used.
