As a precaution,
disconnect the ground of
the battery (if there is more
than one battery, disconnect
both).
2. Remove the air cleaner
box assembly (including
the black flex hose) from
the passenger side of the
vehicle.
3.
Lift and support the
vehicle.
4. If a Banks Stinger,
Stinger-Plus or PowerPack
is being installed now or
is already installed on the
vehicle, proceed to Step 6 .
5.
Underneath the vehicle,
locate the alignment pin
identified in Figure 1.
Measure forward 29”
and make a mark at the
centerline of the pipe. Using
a reciprocating saw or
hacksaw, make a straight
cut through the pipe at the
indicated location.
