To cancel a Route
1.
Tap the ‘Menu’ button.
2.
Tap on the ‘cancel Route’ button in
the Menu select screen. After you press
the ‘cancel Route’ button the main map
will display your current location. See
figure 14.
To avoid Traffic or construction
1.
Tap the ‘Menu’ button in the main
map display screen.
2.
Tap on the ‘Detour’ button in the
Menu select screen.
3.
In the Detour page, tap to select the
distance or road you want to avoid.
For example, to circumnavigate heavy
traffic or construction over the next
three miles, choose 3 Miles. To avoid a
particular road on your route, choose
a road name. For example, choose
I-805 to avoid traffic on the interstate.
The program will re-calculate an
alternate route. choose cancel Detour
to re-calculate a normal route. See
figure 15.
NotE: the program may re-calculate
a route that uses the same street,
but in the opposite direction—e.g.
southbound versus northbound.
In other words, if the same road
re-appears in the list, it is because
the program has calculated a route
using the same road, but in a different
direction.
