1.

To set up a Favorite PoI Search,

tap the ‘MEnU’ button in the lower left
corner of the Main Map display screen.

Tap the ‘nearest PoI’ button in the

menu select screen. See figure 6.
The ‘Select category’ screen opens.

Tap the category you wish to

search (for example ‘Restaurant). The
next screen will narrow your search to
the specific category you selected in
the previous screen. Select one.

4.

A list of PoI to your specific category

selection near your current location will
be displayed. See figure 8.

5.

If satisfied with the selection, tap

the ‘Save’ button to save this search to
your favorites. Tap the ‘X’ in the upper
right to return to the previous screen.

6.

When prompted, enter a

descriptive name for your search and
then tap ‘oK’ to save.

7.

After saving, tap the ‘X’ in the upper

right corner to exit the Selection menu
screen and then tap the ‘MAP’ button
to return to the main map display.
Tap the ‘Touch-and-go’ button to verify
that your favorite PoI search has been
saved and that it works.

Repeat Steps 1-7 to add more favorite
POI search.
NotE: the number of items stored in
the touch-and-Go folder is limited to
300 locations. In addition, note that a
“house” icon sitting on top of a push-pin
or an envelope icon indicates a favorite
destination saved as a Home location.
Managing Favorites in the Touch-

and-Go Pages
Items in the Touch-and-Go selection
pages—i.e. Favorite destinations
and Favorite PoI Searches—can be
managed by tapping on the MAnAGE/
EDIT button. See figure 5.
To delete an item, rename it, set the
item as home, or delete all, tap the
MANAGE/EDIT button. Tab controls
appear along the bottom of the screen.
Select the item you wish to modify,
and then click the appropriate control.
To clear all selections, tap DELETE ALL.
When you are finished, tap the close ‘X’
button in the top right. See figure 9.
NotE: to navigate multiple pages, tap on
the Previous Page or Next Page arrow
buttons that appear on the left and right

edges of the screen.
