PRoGRaM sETTiNGs
Tap on the ‘Menu’ button in the main
map display. Then tap on the ‘Settings’
button in the Menu select screen.
The following settings may be changed
to better suit your needed.
language
Press the ‘Language’ button to set a
desired available language.
Tap on the desired language and then
tap ‘oK’. See figure 20. After you
press ‘oK’ you will be directed to the
main map display.
NotE: the ‘English ttS (Samantha)’
language/voice option may experience
occasional errors if the iQ storage
memory is 256MB or less.
GPs status
Press the ‘GPS Status’ button to
displays current GPS information.
The GPS status will display the Device
Status, GPS State, Speed, Heading,
Longitude, Latitude, Altitude, and
Satellites used. After Reviewing the
information, press the ‘MAP’ icon to be
directed back to the main map display. security (safety lock)
The Security (Safety Lock) feature
enables you to set a passcode to
secure and encrypt all personal data.
If you lose the device, or if someone
is able to get data out of the device,
the data remains securely encrypted.
Without the correct password, no one
can use the device. If you forget your
password, you may use the factory
reset password (20500).
NotE: Use of the factory reset
password ERASES all personal data
from the device.
Tap Enter/change PIn to enable
the security feature. The system
will prompt you for a passcode.
Subsequent use of the device will
require the code. Tap ‘Unlock Device’
to disable the security feature.
Map settings
In the ‘Map Settings’ screen you will be
able to set your Map Mode, Day/night
Mode and be able to turn On or Off the
POI icons. See figure 21.
