PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS

The appliance

does not

go on

1. Make sure that the connector (7b) is inserted correctly into the

base connection (6).

2. Make sure that the power supply plug (7a) is inserted into a wall

socket.

No light is

emitted when

the pulse

activation

button (19)

is pressed

1. Make sure the surface treatment (17) is evenly and firmly

pressed on the skin. OR

2. Check the skin colour check LED (15): if it flashes for 3 seconds,

the skin tone is too dark for a safe application. Try to use the

appliance on another part of the body or contact the IMETEC

service centre. OR

3. Check the lamp replacement LED (14): If it stays on, contact the

IMETEC Customer Service Centre. OR

4. Verify that the ready-for-use LED (11) is on.

If the ready-for-use LED (11) remains off after 10 seconds, switch

the appliance off and on again by pressing the switch-on/stand-by

button (8) twice.

If the problem persists, contact the IMETEC Customer Service

Centre. OR

5. Check the error/fault LED (16): if the LED is on, switch the

appliance off and on again by pressing the switch-on/stand-

by button (8) twice. If the problem persists, contact the IMETEC

Customer Service Centre.
