Tips for saving energy

S Install the appliance in a dry, well

ventilated room, but not in direct
sunlight and not near a heat source
(e.g. radiator, cooker, etc.). If required,
use an insulating plate.

S Allow warm food and drinks to cool

down before placing in the appliance!

S When thawing frozen products,

place them in the refrigerator. The low
temperature of the frozen products
cools the food in the refrigerator.

S Open the appliance doors as briefly

as possible.

S A layer of hoarfrost in the freezer

compartment will impair refrigeration
of the frozen food and increase power
consumption. Defrost the appliance
if frost forms!

S Ensure that the freezer compartment

door has been closed properly.

S The ventilation opening in the base

should be cleaned occasionally with
a vacuum cleaner or paint brush to
prevent increased power consumption.
