7.2 Lamp replacement
CAUTION
To avoid a possible electric shock, disconnect the instrument
from the power source before servicing the lamp.
1. Remove the cuvette from the cell compartment.
2. Switch the instrument off.
3. Unplug the power cord.
WARNING
Burn Hazard. Wait until the lamp cools down. Contact with the
hot lamp can cause burns.
4. Turn the instrument over carefully and place it on a soft surface.
5. Use a screwdriver or a coin to remove the screw from the
cover.
6. Remove the cover and place it to one side.
7. Use a screwdriver (slotted or cross-headed) to remove the
screws from the lamp fitting.
