Introduction

The PASCO Radiation Cans are a set of three

cans: one silver, one white, and one black. These
cans are very useful in demonstrating that objects of
the same material, but with different colors, will
absorb and radiate heat at different rates. By filling
the cans with water, and determining the temperature
of each, one can confirm that the darker can heats
and cools more quickly than the cans of lighter color.
