Unless instructed by FEC, System Parameter 00-0F should always be configured for
“Dynamic Hold” [x0xx].

Setting the “Dynamic Hold” configuration allows the servo motor to

dynamically hold the press ram when stopped. Setting System Parameter 00-0F to [x0xx]
allows the Maintenance Lock to only be used when control power to the servo is turned off.

The maintenance lock should be used for maintenance purposes only, not for control.

Using the maintenance lock to control stopping of the press ram will decrease the life
of the lock unit dramatically.

These circuits are shown for reference only and do not guarantee the safe
operation of this press. Safety measures must be examined for each
application.
If the Servo is reset, the Servo Motor will shut off and dynamic holding will
cease.
