Configuration Menu/ System Options
Field DESCRIPTION
System Options • Formats the Input/Output COM port settings .
• When Scale Input Mode is set to Memory Map , the transmission criteria is
inactive and grayed-out.
• When Scale Input Mode is set to a COM Port , set the Port Protocol as needed.
9 Default = 17 for Expected Data Length
IMPORTANT NOTE: Whether the Scale Input Mode is set to Memory Map or
to a COM Port, the external device MUST BE CONFIGURED TO SEND WEIGHT IN
EITHER
POUNDS OR KILOGRAMS . Otherwise LabelBank displays the error
message “Receiving Wrong Weight Units.”
A T T E N T I O N
Unless the indicator has the Touch Screen feature, checking the Hide Screen
Cursor box can make the computer very cumbersome, and even INOPERABLE

Kilograms , this message appears.
