Notes:
•
This Omnicell is designed to provide protection from the effects of
moisture. The load cells is calibrated with the cable attached, and
therefore the cable should NOT be cut.
•
The cable is connected directly to the junction box or SSC through a sealed
bushing that MUST be tightened properly to keep water/moisture out of the box.
•
All cabling must have a drip loop at the cell or box entry location to help
prevent water entry.
•
On all boxes, particularly stainless steel, the black plastic fittings have “O”
rings that can be forced out of position if the bushing itself is not tight.
•
To prevent this, first tighten the inner nut securing the bushing in the hole,
then insert cable and carefully tighten the gland until it is very snug.
•
Do not over-tighten where bushing turns.
•
Secure the cover.
