ICH7-M IDE Interface

The integrated IDE interface on the ICH7-M Southbridge supports two IDE hard disks and

ATAPI devices. PIO IDE transfers up to 16 MB/s and Ultra ATA transfers of 100 MB/s. The

integrated IDE interface is able to support the following IDE HDDs:

Ultra ATA/100, with data transfer rates up to 100 MB/s

Ultra ATA/66, with data transfer rates up to 66 MB/s

Ultra ATA/33, with data transfer rates up to 33 MB/s
