Slowly peel the protective sheet off of the GP unit's screen.

Note : Peeling off the protective sheet with excessive force may peel off the
film of the touch panel.

4

When the GP unit is shipped from the factory, installation brackets
are fixed to its top surface and bottom surface. This corresponds to
the standard mount orientation. If you are installing the GP unit in a
panel with the GP unit in the same state as when it was shipped
from the factory, read step 8.
If you are switching the installation brackets to their positions on the
sides of the GP unit or if you are installing the GP unit with the flat
mount orientation, read steps 5 to 7.

5

[Switching the installation brackets to their positions on the sides of
the GP unit or changing to the flat mount orientation]
Orient the GP unit so that its screen faces down, and then place the
GP unit on a clean and level surface.

6

Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two installation
screws fixing the one installation bracket in place on the top surface
of the GP unit. In the same manner, remove the one installation
bracket from the bottom surface.
