5.2 Receipt and Inspection of Parts

The RollSeal RollUp Curtain System is shipped as parts that require assembly.
Identify components by the Parts/Assemblies section in back of this manual. When components are received, check
for damaged, loose or missing parts. If there are damaged or missing parts, contact your RollSeal distributor
immediately. For efficient installation, follow steps in order presented in this manual.

Please read the instructions carefully before beginning installation.

5.3 Framing

A single rollup curtain system may be installed or a double stack rollup curtain system may be installed. Review the
following descriptions of single framing and double stack framing. Adjust your framing members as required to fit
the size system that you are installing.

5.3.1 Single System Framing

NOTE: The System Cabinet is designed for use with 8" C-Channel.

Single framing provides for a one tier curtain system along
the outside wall of building. The curtain system attaches
to horizontal stringers. Bottom stringer should be at least
1ft. (30cm) above ground level.
The top stringer should be exactly at height B (See Table
2) above the bottom stringer as shown in the diagram
above. Install or adjust top stringer to this specification.
Pocket kits are available to enclose openings.
