parameter you are viewing. You can easily see “Room Temperature”, “Target Temperature and all
four Zone Temperatures. These three temperatures are defined as:
Room Temperature = The average of the four zone sensors located inside the house.
Target Temperature = The temperature the system tries to maintain.
Zone Temperature = The temperature of each of the four zones.
To adjust the Target Temperature, press the mode button until the LED beside Target Temp is lighted,
then use the Plus (+) button to raise the value, or the Minus (-) button to lower the value. When you
are finished setting a new value, either press the mode button again, or wait a few seconds and the
system will return to normal operation.
To view the zone temperatures press the mode button until the LED beside Zone Temps is lighted. Note
also the Zone 1 LED will light indicating the Zone 1 temperature is being shown in the display indicator.
Continue to press the Mode button to step through all four of the Zone temperature readings.
The chart below shows the sequence of parameters will be shown in the display as the mode button is
pressed.
5.3 Using the Heat Zone controller over local or HH.Net connections
The Farm Hand Heat Zone controller has the capability to operate with other network
compatible controllers over the HH.Net or over a local network connection. Two examples
are shown in the Wiring diagrams. The Heat Zone can be connected to the Vent Master over
a local network connection. (See Section 9.3 for a wiring diagram.) The Vent Master can
then control the Target Temperature. Programming parameter P40 of the Heat Zone
controller is the Network Address. This must be set to zero (0) when operating with the Vent
Master.
