5.7. POSITION “
Ω ”: RESISTANCE AND CONTINUITY MEASUREMENT
WARNING
Before attempting any resistance measurement, remove power from the
circuit under test and discharge all capacitors, if present.
By positioning the selector switch to “ Ω ”, the screen to the side
will appear.

Insert the red cable into the input lead V Ω and the black cable into the input lead COM,
and connect the instrument as described in Fig. 13.
Press key F1 (Mod) to open the drop-down menu shown on the
screen to the side. At each subsequent pressure of key F1, the
cursor will scroll through the available items, as follows:
• Resistance: resistance measurement;
• Continuity: continuity measurement;
• Help: it displays the connection between instrument and
system;
• Esc: it closes the drop-down menu.
