• The battery is not installed or not installed
properly in the handset.

• The battery needs to be replaced.

• An incorrect battery has been installed by mis-
take. Use only supplied battery or AT&T
replacement battery model 27910.
The battery is very low. The handset should be
placed in the base unit or charger.
