1. In the Columns pane, click on the name of the column in the list in the

Column Name field. The attributes of the column are displayed in the
Edit Columns window.

2. Change any of the column attributes.

3. Click on Change to display the column’s new attributes in the Column

pane.

Note: If you change the primary key attribute, the key-sequence
number of all primary-key columns will be changed.

4. Repeat steps 1 through 3 to change the attributes of the any other

columns in the new table.

5. When you are finished changing column attributes, click OK. The Edit

Columns window closes and the column list appears in the Create Table
window.

Delete Columns

You can delete a column in the new table by using the Edit Columns
window.

1. From the Columns pane, click on the name of the column in the

Column Name field. The attributes of the column are displayed in the
Edit Columns window.

2. Click on Delete. The column is deleted from the Columns pane.

Note: If you delete a primary-key column, the key-sequence number of
all primary key columns will be changed.

3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to delete columns from the new table.

4. When you are finished deleting columns, click OK. The Edit Columns

window closes and the column list appears in the Create Table window.

Change Column Sequence

You can change the sequence of columns in the Column Name pane.

1. Click on the name of the column in the Column Name field.

2. Click on Up. The column will move up one row.

3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to sequence additional columns.
