Command
SETLOCAL
Description
The Text Client/DTCL sends a request directly to the registry, bypassing Storage Mirroring, to
modify the value of a Storage Mirroring program setting.

Setlocal is designed to allow you to edit DTCL and Text Client program settings on a machine
where the Storage Mirroring service is not running. Therefore, if you are running the Storage
Mirroring service, any changes made with setlocal will not take effect until the service is
restarted.
