Logging on to the HP Virtual Connect Manager GUI
Log on using the user name (Administrator) and password from the Default Network Settings label for the
Primary VC module.
If the default network settings have been changed and need to be restored, see information about resetting
the administrator password and DNS settings in the HP Virtual Connect for c-Class BladeSystem Setup and
Installation Guide.
Possible causes for logon problems are as follows:
• The information is not being entered correctly. User names and passwords are case-sensitive.
• The account being entered is not an account for HP Virtual Connect Manager.
• The account being entered has been deleted, disabled, or locked out.
• The password for the account needs to be changed.
• There is no connection to the Virtual Connect Ethernet module running the active Virtual Connect
Manager.
• The Virtual Connect Manager is undergoing a failover or recovery.
• The attempted IP sign-in address is not valid for the specified account.
• The attempted IP sign-in address is for a Virtual Connect Ethernet module not running the active Virtual
Connect Manager.
• The browser settings are incorrect. See "Configuring browser support (on page 11 )."
