Scan and send documents by using the Quick Sets
feature

Use the

Quick Sets

feature to quickly access preset job options for the following scan/send features:

E-mail

Save to Network Folder

Save to USB

Save to SharePoint®

The product administrator can use the HP Embedded Web Server to create Quick Sets, which are then

available in the

Quick Sets

menu from the control-panel Home screen.

Create a Quick Set

1.

Open a Web browser, and then enter the product IP address in the address line.

2.

When the HP Embedded Web Server opens, click the Scan/Digital Send tab.

3.

Click one of these scan/send links from the pane on the left side of the window:

E-mail Setup

Save to Network Folder Setup

Save to SharePoint®

Save to USB Setup

4.

In the Quick Sets area, click the Add button, and then follow the on-screen instructions to create

the Quick Set.

Use a predefined Quick Set

1.

From the Home screen on the product control panel, touch the

Quick Sets

button.

NOTE:

The product administrator has the option to place Quick Sets directly on the Home

screen. In that case, touch the button for the specific Quick Set instead of touching the

Quick Sets

button.

2.

Touch the name of the Quick Set that you want to use.

NOTE:

Quick Sets are color-coded to correspond with each scan/send feature. For example,

Email Quick Sets have a green bar behind the Quick Set name, which corresponds with the green

bar behind the name of the

E-mail

feature.

3.

Configure any necessary settings, and then touch the Start button to complete the job.
