Threshold Alert(s)
Select this option to configure threshold alerts for ports. A threshold alert notifies users when the

transmit (Tx) or receive (Rx) throughput reaches specified values for specific director ports or port

types (E_Ports or F_Ports). Using this option, you can configure:

A name for the alert.

A threshold type for the alert (Rx, Tx, or both).

Active or inactive state of the alert.

Threshold criteria. This includes configuring the threshold as the percent of port traffic capacity

utilized (% utilization). You must also configure the time interval during which the throughput is

measured and the maximum cumulative time that the throughput percentage threshold can be

exceeded during this time interval before an alert is generated.
