Using Secure Access Wizard

22. The 802.1X configuration window lets you select the authentication

method to be applied in the secure access settings for the selected devices.

The configuration options displayed will vary based on the selected device
set: wired, wireless, or both.

a.

Select the authentication method for the selected device types. Only
one method can be applied.

For Wired devices the 802.1X authentication options are:

Use EAP-capable RADIUS

Use CHAP (MD5)-capable RADIUS

For Wireless devices the 802.1X authentication options are:

WPA - TKIP

WPA2 - TKIP

WPA2 - CCMP (AES)

WPA2 - Mixed mode AES-TKIP

You can refer to the "Using ProCurve Mobility Manager" chapter in
the HP ProCurve Manager Network Administrator’s Guide for a
more complete description of the wireless (WLAN) security settings.

In the

Client Limit field, select or type the maximum number of clients

to allow on one port simultaneously (default is 1).
