This chapter describes the environment you need to prepare in order to operate LUN Expansion
(LUSE).

To operate LUSE, you need the following items:

HP storage system (or simply storage system, where applicable)
•
HP StorageWorks XP Remote Web Console computer
•
Licensed LUN Expansion software
To use the LUSE function, you need the software called Open Volume Management. Note that this
software is only for open systems.
