Connecting the
appliance

After installing the appliance, wait at least
½ hour before switching on the appliance.
During transportation the oil in the
compressor may have flowed into the
refrigeration system.

Before switching on the appliance for the
first time, clean the interior (see Cleaning).

The socket should be freely accessible.
Connect the appliance to
220-240 V/50 Hz alternating current via
a correctly installed earthed socket.
The socket must be fused with
a 10ĆAĆfuse or higher.

If the appliance is to be operated
in a nonĆEuropean country, check
on the rating plate whether the
indicated voltage and current type
correspond to the values of your
mains supply.
The rating plate is situated in the
bottom leftĆhand side of the appliance.

The mains connection cable may
be replaced by an electrician only.

Warning!

Never connect the appliance
to electronic energy saver plugs
(e.g. Ecoboy: Sava Plug) or to power
inverters which convert the direct
current to 230 V alternating current
(e.g. solar equipment, power supplies
on ships).

Switching on the
appliance

Press the On/Off switch 1.
The temperature display light flashes until
the required temperature has been
reached. The light glows as soon as the
temperature has been reached.

At the factory the refrigerator
compartment was set to +10

°

C.

Selecting the
temperature

The set values can be changed; see
description of the fascia.

TouchĆLight

This appliance features a TouchĆLight
function.
If you touch the handle on the refrigerator
door, the light comes on inside the
refrigerator compartment.

You can use this function to look at
your drinks without opening the door.
This will save energy.

If the handle is touched while the door is
closed, the light automatically switches off
after approx. 60 sec. If the door is open,
the light switches off approx. 10 seconds
after the door is closed.
