L List by Date
This option is used to sort pictures in the memory or memory card by date of re-
cording.
The following five options are available:
D-Lighting, Print set, Delete, Transfer marking, and Small pic.
To select pictures by date and activate the Playback menu:
Pictures Displayed as Others
In the screen in step 1, pictures are grouped up to 30 days from the newest date of recording.
Older pictures are grouped in the last item as Others and are treated as having the same date
of recording.
When Using List by Date
Because pictures that are hidden (c113) and pictures with no date set (c16, 118) are not
grouped, the above operations cannot be performed. However, the above operations may be
performed on pictures with no date set but shot with other cameras.
Press the m button in Playback mode to select List
by date, and then press d.
Highlight dates.
• A thumbnail image of the first shot,
the date of recording, and the number
of images for that date are displayed.
• Pressing A deletes all of the pictures
from that date.
Display confirmation dialog.
• Confirm pictures for that date.
• Pressing k (T) switches to Full-screen
playback mode. Pressing j (W)
returns to the confirmation dialog.
