Warning indicators and messages
If indicators and messages appear on the LCD screen or in the viewfinder, check the
following:

Warning indicators
The battery is dead or nearly
dead
Flashing:
•The battery is nearly dead.
Fast flashing:
•The battery is dead.
Depending on conditions, the E
indicator may flash, even if there
are 5 to 10 minutes remaining.
You need to eject the disc
Slow flashing:
•The write-protect tab on the disc is
out.
Fast flashing:
•The disc is full.
Warning indicator as to disc
Slow flashing:
•Remaining disc is less than
15 seconds.
•Remaining disc is less than 5
minutes in the interview
recording mode.
•No disc is inserted.
•The write-protect tab on the
disc is out.
Fast flashing
•The disc is full.
