Step 2: Setting up the Analyzer
Before you start the measurement, you must set up the analyzer to
t your measurement requirements . F or example , you must set the
frequency range of the measurement. In this step , you will set the
following parameters:
A ctive channel Channel 1
Analyzer type Network analyzer mode
Inputs B/R or S 21 (depending on the test set)
F ormat Log magnitude (default)
Frequency Range Center 70 MHz, Span 500 kHz
Setting the A ctive Channel
Because the analyzer has two measurement channels you can have
two di erent measurement setups at the same time . T o change the
active channel to channel 1:
In the A CTIVE CHANNEL block, press
4 Chan 1 5 .
V erify the Chan 1 active channel indicator
lights .
