Connecting External Speakers
You can connect external speakers to your computer to enhance the sound quality of your computer. See the manual that
came with your speakers for more information on its installation and use.
Do not place floppy disks on the speakers. The magnetic field of the speakers may damage the data on the
floppy disks.
Before connecting your external speakers
1. Verify that your speakers are designed for computer use.
2. Turn down the volume of the speakers before you turn them on.
To connect your external speakers
1. Locate the green Headphone jack on the right side of your computer.
2. Plug the speaker cable into the Headphone jack.
