6. Connect the RS-485 port on the first VP-885 to the RS-485 terminal
block on the second VP-885 unit as follows:
Connect the A (+) pin on the RS-485 rear terminal block of the first
VP-885 to the A (+) pin on the RS-485 rear panel terminal block on
the second VP-885
Connect the B (–) pin on the RS-485 rear panel terminal block of the
first VP-885 to the B (–) pin on the RS-485 rear panel terminal block
of the second VP-885
Connect the G pin on the RS-485 rear panel terminal block of the
first VP-885 to the G pin on the RS-485 rear panel terminal block of
the second VP-885
7. Using the same wiring configuration as described in
Step 6
, interconnect
the RS-485 bus on the rest of the VP-885 units. Up to sixteen VP-885
units can be connected (see
