8. Install the new optical drive.
(1.) Screw back the metal bracket onto the new optical drive.
(2.) Connect the new optical drive to the cover.
(3.) Slide the new optical drive into the drive bay.
9. Connect the data and power cables back to the optical drive.
10. Screw the new optical drive back to the chassis.
11. Install the computer cover and screw back the computer stand.
Removing the motherboard cover
To remove the motherboard cover
1. Remove the computer stand. Refer to “Removing the computer stand”.
2. Remove the computer cover. Refer to “Removing the computer cover”.
3. Remove the 6 screws that secure the motherboard cover to the chassis.
4. Lift up the motherboard cover.
Replacing a memory module
To replace a memory module
1. Remove the computer stand. Refer to “Removing the computer stand”.
2. Remove the computer cover. Refer to “Removing the computer cover”.
