heat

sink

anywhere

except

on

the

microprocessor

after

the

plastic

covering

has

been

removed

and

the

grease

exposed.

the

new

heat

sink

into

position

and

replace

the

4

screws

to

secure

the

heat

sink.

heat

sink

fan

cable.

This

you

receive

a

new

hard

disk

drive,

you

also

receive

a

set

of

Product

Recovery

CDs.

The

set

of

Product

Recovery

CDs

will

enable

you

to

restore

the

contents

of

the

hard

disk

to

the

same

state

as

when

your

computer

was

originally

shipped

from

the

factory.

To

replace

the

hard

disk

drive:

1.

Open

the

computer

cover.

See

“Opening

the

cover”

on

page

12.

2.

Disconnect

the

signal

and

power

cables

from

the

hard

disk

drive.

3.

Pull

the

handle

to

remove

the

hard

disk

drive.
