- The positions of binding margins vary according to the [Binding Position] setting.
[Binding Margin] Off, On Select this check box to specify the binding margin.
Click [Binding Margin Settings...] to specify the margin
values.
[Binding Margin
Settings...] [Shift Mode] Select how to process the image to prepare the page
margin.
[Front Side]/[Back Side] Specify the binding margin values. For 2-sided printing,
clearing the [Same value for front and back sides]
check box allows you to specify different values for the
front and back sides.
[Unit] Select a unit to be used for specifying the size.
[Image Shift] Off, On Select this check box to print by shifting the entire print
image.
Click [Image Shift Settings...] to specify the image shift
values.
[Image Shift Set-
tings…] [Unit] Select a unit to be used for specifying the size.
[Same value for front and
back sides] Set same shift value for front and back sides.
[Front Side]/[Back Side] Specify the shift direction and values. For 2-sided print-
ing, clearing the [Same value for front and back sides]
check box allows you to specify different values for the
front and back sides.
Set [Right] and [Top] to shift a position of a print image.
Set [Right] to shift the output image horizontally. (Posi-
tive value: shift to the right, negative value: shift to the
left)
Set [Top] to shift the output image perpendicularly.
(Positive value: shift to the top, negative value: shift to
the bottom)
[Imposition] Page spacing of front and back sides can be set for [Im-
position].
[Booklet] [Adhesive
Binding] Page spacing of front and back sides can be set for
[Booklet]/[Adhesive Binding].
[Tab Image Shift] Off, On Select this check box to print by shifting the entire print
image on tab paper.
Use this combining with Per Page Setting. It can be
used when text original size is A4 or Letter.
Click [TAB Image Shift Settings...] to specify the image
shift values.
[TAB Image Shift
Settings...] [Shift Settings] Specify the shift value of image to be printed on tab pa-
per.
