Writing an application to a multifunc-
tional peripheral

The RightFax server settings saved on a multifunctional peripheral are called
the application. Multiple applications can be saved on a single multifunction-
al peripheral, and the desired application can be used depending on the
need.

This procedure describes how to write an application to a multifunctional pe-
ripheral, assuming that the RightFax server settings have been specified first.

To write an application to a multifunctional peripheral

Before performing the operation, check for the following.

The administrator password for the multifunctional peripheral is available.

A MFP module is installed on the RightFax server, and the settings (such
as the Shared Directory setting) for this MFP module have been specified.

The RightFax server is running.

The multifunctional peripheral is connected to the network.

From the Windows Start menu, start the Setup Utility for RightFax.

Click the Windows Start button, point to “All Programs”, then
“KONICA MINOLTA”, “Setup Utility for RightFax 1.0”, and then
click “Setup Utility for RightFax”.

The initial window appears.
