3 Writing an application to a multifunc-
tional peripheral
The RightFax server settings saved on a multifunctional peripheral are called
the application. Multiple applications can be saved on a single multifunction-
al peripheral, and the desired application can be used depending on the
need.
This procedure describes how to write an application to a multifunctional pe-
ripheral, assuming that the RightFax server settings have been specified first.
To write an application to a multifunctional peripheral
Before performing the operation, check for the following.
0 The administrator password for the multifunctional peripheral is available.
0 A MFP module is installed on the RightFax server, and the settings (such
as the Shared Directory setting) for this MFP module have been specified.
0 The RightFax server is running.
0 The multifunctional peripheral is connected to the network.

From the Windows Start menu, start the Setup Utility for RightFax.
– Click the Windows Start button, point to “All Programs”, then
“KONICA MINOLTA”, “Setup Utility for RightFax 1.0”, and then
click “Setup Utility for RightFax”.
The initial window appears.
